Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a night shift in a short stay observation unit requiring at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience. Responsibilities - Work in an 8-bed short stay observation unit within a hospital setting - Patient population includes Neuro, Surgery, Cardiology, and Medicine cases - Unit is housed in the prep and recovery areas within Endoscopy - Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Required to work 3 out of every 6 weekends - Holiday coverage required as needed or every other holiday - Floating required within your skill set - No on-call requirements - Experience with facilities of at least 500 beds required - Orientation sessions are offered on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month - Responsible for caring for a diverse patient population in a dynamic environment - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except where specific rules apply - Holiday coverage required as scheduled Requirements - Active MD or compact RN license required - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) nursing experience - Proficiency in dysrhythmia management required - Current BLS certification required - Epic EMR experience preferred - Completion of one to two prior travel assignments preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630597.
