Details Department: Labor & Delivery Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week. Day Shift 7a-7:30p. Weekend/Holiday Rotation. Hospital: Ascension St. Agnes Location: Baltimore, MD Sign-on Bonus: Up to $15,000 Salary : $38.50 - $55.02 per hour We offer free parking to all associates! Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plan. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences Requires a minimum 1 year work experience as a Registered Nurse. L&D experience preferred.
