Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,307 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 7A/7P Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2.5 years of strong ICU experience, with at least one contract in a Medical ICU in a large institution License: RN License Certifications: BLS, Critical Care Certification preferred, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong ICU experience, experience with high acuity patient populations, 2 previous travel assignments, trauma course preferred Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2.5 years of strong ICU experience. Experience in a Medical ICU within a large institution is essential. The patient population includes those with complex medical diagnoses such as end-stage renal disease, multisystem organ failure, and autoimmune pulmonary disorders. Experience with critically ill patients is necessary, including antepartum/postpartum and oncology patients. Candidates should be familiar with conditions such as sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and end-stage liver disease. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:1 or 1:2. Floating to areas with similar skill sets may be required. Candidates will be expected to work 3 out of 6 weekends in a 6-week schedule. Availability for call is required for 2 calls in a 6-week schedule.
