Job Responsibilities: - Patient consultations and follow-up evaluations - Coordination of care with other community physicians and healthcare providers - Pharmacologic management of pain and related conditions - Spinal and peripheral interventional procedures and injections guided by ultrasound and fluoroscopy - Eagerness to develop new patient referrals and community awareness of our services - Commitment to helping all parts of our organization succeed - Trial procedures for implanted infusion pumps and neurostimulation - Teaching, mentoring, and supervising mid-level practitioners - Providing hope, compassion, and sound medical advice to our patients and our community Qualifications/Requirements: - Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician in Pain Management - MD/DO from an accredited educational institution - ABMS Fellowship training in Pain Medicine - ABMS Board certification/eligibility in Pain Medicine (must obtain board certification within 1 year of employment) - Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland - Favorable malpractice history - Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification - DEA license
