Job Opportunity – Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse – Maryland Start
Date: January 19, 2026 Location: Baltimore, Maryland Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 hours per
week, every other weekend and holiday required, 5:1 patient ratio
Highlights: Work in a Certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy
Monitoring Unit (EMU) Diverse patient population including
neuro-focused care and telemetry overflow from other specialties 40
hours of orientation provided with comprehensive interdisciplinary
support Cerner EMR system with remote and on-unit telemetry
monitoring Longer contract options available beyond initial
assignment Opportunity to develop skills across multiple patient
populations including CVA, epilepsy, post-surgical, and
medical-surgical cases Requirements: Active Maryland RN license or
Compact license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Neurology experience required Med/Surg Telemetry experience
required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Basic
EKG testing through Prophecy Relias (must be completed before
orientation) Previous charge experience and trauma level experience
preferred Cerner charting system experience preferred Flu vaccine
