Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Brooklyn, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,849 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brooklyn, Maryland, 21225! Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years preferred, charge and preceptor experience required License: Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS NRP Intermediate AWHONN C-EFM (must be obtained within the first two weeks of assignment) Must-Have: May consider candidates with 2 years of experience Description: Candidates must have experience in circulating for C-sections. LDRP experience is required. Proven experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and couplet care is essential. Skill in triage and proficiency in sterile vaginal exams is preferred. Experience in a Baby-Friendly facility is highly preferred. This position requires that all employees receive the flu vaccine. Candidate must be floating to postpartum/couplet care and feeder/grower assignments in the Level II NICU. Responsibilities include administration of blood products, amnioinfusion, managing anticoagulants, and assisting with high-risk deliveries. Duties also involve newborn assessments, performing sterile vaginal exams, and managing postpartum hemorrhage. Additional responsibilities include the use of external and internal fetal monitoring, IV management, and recognizing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. The staff will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient care.
