a qualified Oncology RN in Rosedale, Maryland, 21237! Job Title:
Outpatient Oncology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse

Must-Have: - Experience in outpatient oncology nursing - Skills in
biotherapy, chemotherapy, IV therapy/infusions, and oncologic
emergencies - Familiarity with accessing and managing ports -
Proficient in central line care and management Description: This
position is for an outpatient oncology registered nurse. The nurse
will work in an infusion center providing care to adult and
geriatric patients. Responsibilities include administering
chemotherapy and biotherapy, managing side effects, and
coordinating patient care. Candidates should have skills in IV
therapy and the management of oncologic emergencies. Experience
with various cancer types, such as bladder, kidney, breast, and
colorectal cancer, is preferred. The nurse will collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient support.
Training will include proper handling of cytotoxic agents and
monitoring for adverse reactions. Clear communication with patients
and families about treatment plans and education is essential.
Nurses must adhere to safety protocols and manage the disposal of
hazardous materials appropriately. This role requires caring for
