Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Brooklyn, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,156 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brooklyn, Maryland, 21225! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required, preference for candidates with Charge and Preceptor experience License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS NRP Intermediate AWHONN C-EFM (must hold or register for during compliance phase) Certifications Preferred: ACLS, STABLE Must-Have: Experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) required Experience circulating for C-section required Experience in Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Couplet Care required Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The nurse will provide care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring the mother and baby during the labor process. Effective triaging of obstetrical patients is required. Experience in newborn assessments and caring for high-risk deliveries is preferred. The nurse should be skilled in sterile vaginal exams and breastfeeding support. Previous experience in a Baby-Friendly hospital is highly preferred. The nurse will participate in the care of both neonates and adults. Floating to postpartum and couplet care assignments may be required. Weekend availability is required, with rotations every other weekend. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
