Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Wound Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position: Registered Nurse - Wound Care Facility: University of Maryland Medical Center – Downtown Location: 22 S Greene St Baltimore, MD 21201 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Duration: 12 Weeks Start date: 01/26/2026 Experience Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience required. - First-time travelers accepted with strong skills and experience. Licensure & Certifications: - Active Maryland (MD) RN license required. - WCC and BLS required. - WOCN certification preferred. Scheduling & Work Expectations: - Weekends: Not required. - Holidays: Required as they fall, per schedule. - On-call: Not required. - Floating: May be required within the specialty to the Midtown campus, if needed. Patient Care Details: - Patient Age Range: All age groups. - Average Daily Census: Approximately 15 patients per day. - Common Diagnoses: Pressure injuries, chronic and acute wounds, ostomies. - Unit Details: Wound care team rounds on 4–5 units daily.
