Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Bel Air, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,180 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Bel Air, Maryland, 21014! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years experience preferred; will consider 2 years of experience. License: Active state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI required. Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred. - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4. - Proficient in Epic charting system. Description: Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit. This position requires working night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Common patient diagnoses include cardiac, respiratory, and diabetic ketoacidosis. Special procedures include managing Precedex and insulin drips, high-flow oxygen, and bi-pap. The average daily census is 22 patients. The nurse will float within the specialty unit and may float to lower acuity areas as needed. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. The nurse should have skills in telemetry and the management of various IV protocols. The role includes caring for patients post cardiac surgery and during hemodialysis management. Experience with central line management, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care is necessary. The successful candidate must be comfortable floating with no restrictions.
