Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,940 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21201! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; 3 years preferred. License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience (minimum of 2 years) - Patient ratio experience - Travel experience required Description: The position involves providing nursing care in the Cath Lab. Every other weekend and holidays are required as scheduled. Floating to other specialties and lower acuity units may be needed. Knowledge of ACLS and BLS protocols is essential. Candidates should possess skills in antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives. Experience in procedures such as assist with central line insertion and cardiac stent placement is vital. The role requires familiarity with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures. Additional skills in monitoring procedural sedation and IV vasopressor administration are necessary. Candidates should be adept in infection prevention and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with procedures like percutaneous coronary interventions and transcatheter aortic valve implantation is preferred. The work environment includes caring for adult patients with conditions like coronary artery disease, heart failure, and post-cardiac arrest. Candidates will be involved in various special procedures such as right heart catheterization and aortic valvuloplasty.
