Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Brooklyn, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,027 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Brooklyn, Maryland, 21225! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required, Travel experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Every other weekend required. Float within skill set to Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Telemetry required. Description: The role involves providing care for patients in an acute care setting. The nurse will work a 3x12 hour night shift from 19:00 to 07:30. Experience with Cardiac Telemetry and Telemetry is required. The nurse will be involved in accessing and managing ports and administering blood products. Management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring is essential. The nurse will provide care for patients with conditions such as renal failure and seizure disorders. Responsibilities also include wound care and the management of feeding tubes. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services is expected. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to float between units as needed. The nurse should have experience with high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management. They should also be familiar with protocols for heparin and pre/post hemodialysis management. The role involves starting and maintaining IVs, managing tracheostomies, and ensuring patient safety during rapid response situations.
