Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Rosedale, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,003 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Candidate must have Cerner experience. - Must have 1 prior travel assignment. - Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. - Candidates must be willing to work holidays. - Candidates must provide two supervisor references. Description: The Emergency Department is seeking a qualified registered nurse. The nurse will work on a night shift schedule. This position involves caring for patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for managing emergency medications and conducting triage. The nurse will provide care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates will be expected to perform assessments and implement treatment plans for various medical conditions. Experience with conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilators is required. The nurse will also be responsible for starting and maintaining IVs and obtaining 12-lead EKGs/ECGs. This role includes collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. The nurse will need to demonstrate skills in the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. The daily census may reach up to 200 visits, with care offered in a busy emergency setting. Candidates should be able to handle a patient ratio of 1:5.
