Job Description Regional pain management and mental health
provider serving the Baltimore–Washington D.C. metro area. This
clinic has been operating since 2000, and the group has built its
identity around comprehensive care for acute and chronic pain.
Their providers are pain management specialists who treat chronic
pain as a whole-person issue (physical and psychological), using
multi-dimensional, evidence-based treatment plans. Care is
personalized and outcome-focused, and the culture emphasizes
attentive, thorough patient management rather than high-volume,
transactional medicine. Job Summary Perform thorough patient
assessments, establish accurate diagnoses, and build individualized
treatment plans for chronic pain and co-occurring mental/behavioral
health conditions. Manage same-day visits efficiently. Provide
in-clinic procedures such as trigger point injections. Manage
medication refills through proprietary pharmacy workflows. Initiate
and manage referrals for: • Diagnostic imaging • Physical Therapy •
Chiropractic care • Orthopedic consultations • Laboratory services
Minimum Qualifications: • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant
license in Maryland. • Active CDS and DEA licenses. • Preferred
experience in: Pain management Mental health / behavioral health
Addiction care / substance use disorders • Strong clinical judgment
and the ability to independently manage complex outpatient cases in
a satellite clinic (not a purely supervised, “support-only” PA
role). • High level of organization and follow-through, especially
around timely documentation and managing same-day visits. •
Patient-first mindset with a commitment to comprehensive,
compassionate, whole-person care. • Comfortable practicing largely
independently day-to-day, leveraging remote support from the main
