Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro ICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a current MD or compact RN license and at least 2 years of neuro critical care experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) within a hospital setting - Care for patients with severe brain injuries, stroke, brain tumors, and those post-neurosurgical procedure - Patient population includes neurologically complex cases and interface with multiple organ systems - Rotating 12-hour shifts (7A/7P), including 3 out of 6 weekends - On-call required 2 times per 6-week schedule - Floating to areas of similar skill set including other ICU/IMC units as needed - Uses Epic EMR, experience required - Participate in care for neurologically complex and post-op neurosurgical patients - Orientation provided on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month - Holiday coverage required as needed - Local candidates accepted at the same rate except for select facilities - Scrub or dress code details not specified /n /n Requirements/n - Active MD or compact RN license - Current BLS certification required - At least 2 years of recent neuro critical care experience - Experience in hospitals with 500 bed count required - Epic EMR experience required - ACLS, Critical Care Certification, or trauma course preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-657133.
