Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,135 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac open heart recovery experience. At least 2 previous travel assignments, with strong Surgical IMC experience. Experience with high acuity patients is required. License: RN License Certifications: BLS Preferred: Critical Care Certification ACLS Must-Have: Experience taking care of patients who are 1 days post-operative from CABG, valve repairs, and valve replacements. Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support devices such as LVADs and patients recovering from heart and lung transplants. ICU experience for management of high acuity patients. Description: This position is in a fast-paced surgical step-down unit. The unit is composed of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries. The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients post-surgery. Nurse-patient ratios are typically 1:3 during the day and 1:4 at night. The facility features 32 beds; 12 are designated for continuous cardiac monitoring, while the remainder are for telemetry and floor-level care.
