Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB Hospitalist to provide comprehensive obstetric care on a locum basis in Bel Air, MD. As a vital member of our clinical team, you will oversee labor and delivery processes, manage obstetric emergencies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver outstanding maternity services. Required Skills Valid MD or DO medical license in Maryland Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Proven experience in labor and delivery management and obstetric emergencies Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care Nice to Have Skills Experience working in hospitalist or inpatient obstetric settings Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills that enhance patient communication Additional certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or Fetal Heart Monitoring Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree from an accredited institution At least 2 years of post-residency obstetric practice or recent laborist experience Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification Active Maryland medical license and DEA registration Other Requirements Ability to start on 12/31/2025 and commit to the scheduled shifts Willingness to comply with healthcare facility policies and protocols Travel and licensure-related reimbursements available when applicable Compensation for this role is $195.00 per hour.
