Levels of care vary from High Acuity IMC (requires ICU experience, 1:2 ratio managing low-dose pressors, mechanical ventilation via trach, unstable rhythms requiring TVP or epicardial pacing, continuous cardiac monitoring), IMC (dose-ordered vasoactives, continuous cardiac monitoring), and Telemetry (intermittent cardiac monitoring) to Mixed level of care assignments with IMC and Telemetry patients with typically 1:3 during the day and 1:4 at night Level 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet facility.
