3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred;
will accept first-time travelers with a minimum of 1 year of
healthcare provider experience and strong skills. License: Active
state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; CPI preferred
Must-Have: General surgery and orthopedic experience; strong
telemetry skills Description: The registered nurse will work night
shifts in a medical/surgical/telemetry unit. Candidates must have
general surgery and orthopedic experience along with strong nursing
skills. Telemetry monitoring and understanding of rhythm basics are
required. The role includes care for adult and geriatric patients,
as well as adolescents with a Tanner score of greater than 4. The
registered nurse will participate in the care of patients
undergoing complex surgeries such as total joints, spine fusions,
and various other procedures. Key procedures include EKGs and
telemetry monitoring. Familiarity with IV, PCA, PCEA, capnography,
and wound vac management is necessary. The registered nurse will
collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Weekend and holiday
shifts are required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty and
lower acuity areas may be necessary. The nurse will manage patient
ratios of 1:5. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and
administering medications, managing telemetry, and performing
various nursing-related procedures. Strong communication skills are
essential for participating in bedside shift reporting and
