Job Description Job Description Dental Assistant Full-Time | Waldorf & Nanjemoy, MD Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour About Us: Health Partners is a non-profit Dental and Primary Care organization with two locations in Waldorf and Nanjemoy, MD. We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant who is flexible, compassionate, and eager to grow with our team. The right candidate will be willing to work at both locations as needed and will share our commitment to providing excellent patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures Provide chairside assistance during procedures Take dental x-rays, charting, and perio-charting Sterilize instruments and disinfect equipment Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history Assist with dental lab work, including CAD/CAM technology Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience X-Ray Certification (Maryland license required) Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred) At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (required) Experience with pediatric patients preferred, but not required Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Retirement Plan Supportive work environment with opportunities to grow Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts, daytime hours In-person role (no remote work) If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and passionate about delivering quality dental care, we’d love to hear from you.
