Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,674 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Med Surg Float RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; Travel experience required License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI preferred Must-Have: Telemetry and Cardiac Tele experience required ER holding experience required Description: Float required to Medical Surgical (MS), Intermediate Care (IMC), and Emergency Department (ED) Boarder as needed. Travelers will be expected to float to the ED to care for boarders and/or float to inpatient units to care for patients. Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Every 3rd weekend required. Float required to MS, MS/Tele, IMC, and ED Boarder. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy. Ratios: MedSurg is usually 1:6; IMC is 1:3/4. Special equipment and procedures may be utilized as required. Candidates must adhere to safety and infection control protocols. This position requires strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared for varied patient conditions and needs.
