hospital experience required Previous charge experience preferred
Travel experience not required License: Valid nursing license
required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required Must-Have: Experience with care coordination and discharge
planning Familiarity with InterQual Criteria and Milliman
Guidelines Knowledge of appeals and denials processes Understanding
of medical necessity and retrospective reviews Familiarity with CPT
coding and billing Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines Familiarity with
ICD-10 coding Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid services
Description: We are seeking a Case Manager RN to join our team. The
ideal candidate will have experience in an acute hospital setting.
Candidates must have a valid nursing license and BLS certification.
Experience with care coordination and discharge planning is
essential. Familiarity with InterQual Criteria and Milliman
Guidelines is required. Knowledge of appeals and denials processes
is preferred. An understanding of medical necessity and
retrospective review is important. Candidates should have knowledge
of CPT coding and billing practices. Familiarity with HIPAA
guidelines is necessary. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and Medicare
and Medicaid services is required. This role involves managing a
daily census of 10-15 patients. The work schedule will consist of 5
days per week, Monday to Friday. Candidates must be comfortable
proceeding without an interview. Two supervisor references are
required. Clinical reviews will be conducted for all submissions.
