Experience: Minimum 3 years in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric
License: Permanent RN License required Certifications: BCLS
Must-Have: Charge RN experience preferred Description: MUST HAVE 3
YEARS EXPERIENCE IN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH / PSYCHIATRY. An overview of
the scheduling expectations will be discussed during interviews.
Travelers will be expected to swap shifts with coworkers to meet
new or added time-off requests. Travel nursing staff are required
to wear business casual attire. Travel nurses may be reassigned to
inpatient units if the patient census decreases. Travel nurses
should bring navy scrubs or keep a pair in their locker. Nursing
staff may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift
without a charge pay bump. Patients in the unit consist of adults
with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and OCD. Interdisciplinary
support includes phlebotomy and pharmacy. Drug screening is
required, and candidates must pass on the first try. All candidates
must have a permanent RN license in hand for submission. Candidates
must complete required fingerprinting in the designated state prior
to start. Modules are completed during orientation and annually,
and vary by specialty. Travelers may float within their scope to
meet facility needs. All candidates should be aware that medical
marijuana cards are not accepted. RTO must be submitted with the
