Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,271 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21218! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, first-time travelers accepted if they have CVICU experience License: Must have an active nursing license in the relevant state Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. - 3x12 schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. - Float required. - Call required - 4 call shifts in a 6-week schedule. - Every 3rd weekend required. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU. Candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. The role requires expertise in managing complex medical needs. Patients will include those recovering from cardiac surgery and interventions. Nurses will be expected to interpret EKGs and manage monitoring equipment. Candidates will assist in various critical care procedures and interventions. The nursing staff will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment. A commitment to ongoing education and compliance with protocols is required. Candidates will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 2:1 during shifts.
