the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Infusion RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21224! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Infusion
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (7:00 AM - 4:30
PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience License: Valid RN
License Certifications: BLS certification, Chemotherapy
certification (e.g., OCN) required Must-Have: Proficiency with IV
insertion Description: The RN provides safe, high-quality nursing
care to oncology and non-oncology patients in a fast-paced
ambulatory infusion setting. Responsibilities include
administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood
products, and supportive therapies. Continuous patient monitoring
and rapid response to infusion reactions and emergent situations
are essential. Ongoing patient education is also a critical
component of this role. Candidates must be proficient with IV
insertion. Preferred qualifications include ambulatory infusion
experience, Epic experience, and travel nursing experience. Core
competencies include peripheral IV insertion and blood draws,
access, maintenance, and de-access of central lines (PICC, ports,
CVCs), comprehensive patient assessment, management of infusion
reactions, and urgent clinical changes. Additionally, patient and
caregiver education is necessary. Schedule consists of Monday
through Friday with five 8-hour shifts (staggered): - 7:30 AM to
4:00 PM - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM There are no
weekends or holidays, and duties will vary between chemotherapy and
