Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) with CCC certification to support pediatric students in a
scenic waterfront city in Maryland. This full school year
(2025-2026) itinerant position offers an engaging school-based
contract working 37.5 hours per week, with the added bonus of
occasional weekend trips to Washington, DC just under two hours
away. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of
speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using
standardized tests and clinical observations; develop precise
diagnoses based on evaluation results. Implement evidence-based
treatments tailored to pediatric speech, language, voice, and
swallowing disorders; regularly monitor and adapt therapy plans.
Educate and support students and families with communication
strategies and disorder management. Maintain thorough documentation
of evaluations, progress, and plans adhering to legal and ethical
standards. Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and
multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters Degree in
Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid
Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA) CCC-SLP required. Experience working with pediatric
populations in schools preferred, including Clinical Fellowship
Year (CFY) candidates. Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and
therapy with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, software, and
electronic health record systems. Ability to work effectively as
