not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for the
2025-2026 school year in a scenic waterfront city in Maryland,
known for its marinas and vibrant boating community. This itinerant
position involves providing specialized speech and language
services within a school setting, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Conveniently located just under two hours from Washington, D.C.,
this role offers unique weekend travel opportunities to the nations
capital. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient
assessments using standardized tests and clinical observations to
evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities. Develop
accurate diagnoses based on assessment findings to guide effective
treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based speech, language, voice,
and swallowing therapy tailored to pediatric populations. Monitor
progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary while
educating and supporting patients and families on communication
improvement. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of
evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in compliance
with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate closely with
healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team
meetings to ensure holistic patient care. Qualifications and
Experience: Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an
accredited program. Valid Maryland state licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Demonstrated
proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic
intervention techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary
teams. Skilled in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment,
relevant software, and electronic health record systems. This
