Job Description:

Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing excellent rehabilitation services. This role involves working closely with patients who are recovering from life-altering illnesses and injuries, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes. As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will be instrumental in developing personalized therapy plans and utilizing a patient-centered approach to care. Your expertise in physical therapy will help patients regain function, improve mobility, and reduce pain, contributing crucially to their journey back to independence. Assess patient condition by performing diagnostic tests and measurements. Develop treatment plans based on patient-specific needs and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions including but not limited to manual therapy, mobility training, and therapeutic exercises. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on the recovery process and maintenance techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills Proficiency in developing and executing targeted therapy plans Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers Experience in utilizing therapeutic equipment and technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist CPR and BLS certifications preferred
