Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,063 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required (Permanent license in hand) Certifications: BCLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience Description: This position focuses on adolescent mood disorders. Candidates will work in a psychiatric setting with a daily census of approximately 15 patients. The patient population includes adolescents experiencing various mood disorders. Common diagnoses include Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety. Registered Nurses will be responsible for providing direct patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. There will be expectations to float within the facility to meet patient care needs. All candidates must pass a drug screening prior to onboarding. RNs may be required to work as the charge nurse without a pay increase for those hours. There are no on-call requirements. Weekends will be scheduled every other weekend. The facility engages in the treatment of adolescents with mental health challenges, providing support as needed. Candidates must have experience managing a patient ratio of 4 to 8 depending on the shift. A strong commitment to patient care and compliance with facility policies is essential.
