Job Description:
As a Diagnostic Technologist at MedStar Health, you will be
instrumental in providing cutting-edge diagnostic services in a
patient-first clinical environment. Utilizing advanced medical
imaging technologies, such as MRI, CT scans, and X-rays, you will
assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries. Working in
our state-of-the-art facilities, you will collaborate with a team
of skilled healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality,
compassionate care to our community. Perform diagnostic imaging
procedures according to the physician's orders. Maintain patient
safety and comfort during all imaging procedures. Ensure the
operation of imaging equipment by performing quality checks.
Prepare imaging equipment and examination rooms. Record and
maintain accurate patient records and radiographic findings.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
Proficiency in various imaging technologies (MRI, CT, X-ray) Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment Patient management skills Life Insurance Certified and
registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT Applicable
state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
