Cath Lab Tech Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,220 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required with RCIS certification. If holding ARRT-R certification, a minimum of 3 years experience is required. First-time travelers will not be accepted. License: Active RCIS or ARRT-R license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must-Have: Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Ability to perform cardiac catheterizations and utilize specialized equipment. Description: The role involves working in a cardiac invasive cath lab. The technician will handle adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include performing percutaneous coronary interventions, cardiac catheterizations, and various other cardiac procedures. The average daily case volume is approximately 15, with 4 procedure rooms available. Special procedures performed include PFO closure, ASD closure, and TAVR. Familiarity with equipment such as Impella console, IABP console, and various coronary wires/stents/balloons is essential. The technician must possess strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretration of dysrhythmias. One weekend shift per month is required, along with one on-call day per week.
