Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Brooklyn, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,858 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Required Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: Adult critical care and emergency department experience required. First-time travelers accepted. 4 weekend shifts required every 6 weeks. Description: This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The therapist will work night shifts consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts. Two years of experience is required in adult critical care and emergency departments. The therapist will have the opportunity to work on a contract basis. Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted. BLS and RRT certifications are mandatory. Experience in drawing arterial blood gases is preferred. The duties will include oral airway placement, suctioning, sputum specimen collection, and management of tracheostomy care. The candidate must be familiar with aerosol setups and various ventilation methods. Knowledge of troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation is necessary. Interpretation of arterial blood gases is essential for this role. Candidates are expected to provide two supervisor references. Compliance with facility-specific training modules is required upon hiring. Candidates must be prepared to complete all necessary clearance exams.
