About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License:
Must have relevant state license in hand Certifications: BLS, RRT
Must-Have: Adult critical care and emergency department experience
required First-time travelers accepted Description: RRT is required
for this position. BLS certification is required. Candidates must
have adult critical care and emergency department experience. Two
years of experience in the field is required. This position is open
to first-time travelers. Candidates will work three 12-hour shifts
from 19:00 to 07:30. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are
accepted. Specific skills required include: Drawing arterial blood
gases Adult critical care Emergency department experience
Endotracheal tube and suctioning Oral airway placement Oral and
nasal suctioning Sputum specimen collection Tracheostomy care and
management Aerosol setup for mask and trach Use of Medihalers and
metered dose inhalers Working with bag and mask Troubleshooting
high-pressure alarms Weaning from mechanical ventilation
Interpretation of arterial blood gases Patient age groups served
include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and
geriatrics. Candidates may be required to float to different units.
The daily census and number of beds are variable.
Multi-disciplinary support is available. Candidates must complete
all compliance requirements necessary for the role. Failure to
complete the necessary modules and appointments may result in
cancellation. References from supervisors are required. Candidates
are encouraged to plan ahead to avoid scheduling conflicts.
