This role is pivotal in providing top-tier patient care in our state-of-the-art surgical environments. Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to all patients undergoing surgical procedures. Assist in the setup and preparation of the operating room alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and administer required medications as directed by established protocols. Collaborate with surgical team to ensure smooth, efficient operations and exceptional care outcomes. Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and surgical logs. Adhere to all hospital safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Exemplary communication and interpersonal abilities Capability to respond to stressful and critical situations calmly and effectively Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records (EHR) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland or a compact state. BLS Certification required. ACLS preferred. Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification is a plus.
