Position OverviewA well-established, multi-specialty ophthalmology
group in Baltimore County is seeking a full-time Optometrist to
join a collaborative eye care team. This position offers the chance
to provide high-quality patient care alongside ophthalmology
residents while enjoying a balanced schedule and supportive
environment. Assignment DetailsFull-time employed position with
base salary plus incentive bonus based on collections 90% clinical
and 10% teaching/administrative duties Immediate patient volume
with a strong specialty contact lens population Opportunities to
mentor residents and provide lectures in optics and clinical
refraction No call responsibilities Access to advanced onsite
technology including Optos, OCT, Pentacam, and visual field testing
EMR: Modernizing Medicine Ophthalmology QualificationsDoctor of
Optometry (OD) degree required Maryland therapeutic Optometry
license (or eligibility) Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Interest or training in fitting specialty contact lenses (e.g.,
scleral lenses) Passion for teaching ophthalmology residents and
contributing to education programs Excellent communication skills
and ability to thrive in a team environment New graduates are
