Healthcare Utilization Management Coordinator Location: Baltimore,
MD 21224 (Remote) Duration: 3 Months Contract Extnesion Job
Description: Terms of Employment: Contract, Three Months (Likely
Extension) This position is 100% remote. Candidates must reside in
MD, DC, or VA. Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST. Overview: Support the
Commercial clinical team by managing the administrative lifecycle
of patient authorizations. This role focuses on processing faxes
and electronic records to ensure medical necessity reviews move
forward without delay. You will… Process incoming faxes and
accurately enter data into the care management platform. Create and
route authorizations for the clinical review team. Manage and
update patient cases that lack discharge dates. Utilize Facets and
GuidingCare to verify member and provider information. Required
Qualifications: 3 years of healthcare administrative experience. 2
years of experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding. Exceptional data
entry speed and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
