Occupational Therapist Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $53 per hour Shift Information: Days Contract Duration: 13 Days Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Occupational Therapist Location: Baltimore, MD Start Date: 03-02-2026 End Date: 05-30-2026 Contract Type: Contract Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift) Hours per Week: 35 Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour Roles & Responsibilities Evaluate patients to identify functional limitations and design individualized OT treatment plans Implement therapeutic interventions to improve independence with daily living activities Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record system Collaborate with physicians, PTs, SLPs, nursing, and support staff to deliver coordinated care Provide education and training to patients and families to support safe transitions and carryover Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to maximize patient function Participate in care planning and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist license in Maryland or ability to obtain prior to start OTR or equivalent credential preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain Clinical experience in adult rehab or similar settings is a plus; new grads with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and documentation skills, with a patient-centered approach Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field Knowledge & Skills Skilled in clinical assessment and development of functional treatment plans Familiarity with adaptive equipment, splinting basics, and ADL training Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices Excellent communication and patient education abilities Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage to keep you healthy and focused on care Licensure assistance and reimbursement to support your professional growth Paid time off so you can recharge and stay at your best A supportive, collaborative rehab team that values your clinical judgment Professional development opportunities and continuing education support Onboarding orientation and mentorship to help you hit the ground running Flexible scheduling conversations where possible to help balance life and work Employee referral program so your colleagues can benefit when you bring great people aboard Apply Now Ready to start your next adventure as a Occupational Therapist?
