Job Description:
BJ's Wholesale Club, renowned for delivering superior products
at low prices, is seeking a dedicated Optical Manager to oversee
the daily operations of our in-house optical department. This role
is crucial in ensuring that our commitment to high-quality
healthcare services is met with the same rigor as our retail
offerings. The Optical Manager will be responsible for managing
staff, ensuring patient satisfaction, and upholding the standards
of optical care that our members depend on. Oversee daily
operations of the optical department within the store. Manage,
train, and evaluate optical staff to ensure expertise in optical
standards and customer service. Collaborate with store management
and healthcare providers to ensure seamless integration of
services. Maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure the use of
proper equipment and materials. Stay current with the latest trends
in eye care and eyewear products. Develop and implement strategies
to increase patient base and overall sales within the department.
Ensure compliance with all health care laws, organizational
policies, and professional standards. Strong leadership and
management skills In-depth knowledge of eyewear products and
optical health Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in managing business operations, including budgeting
and inventory management Ability to provide exceptional patient
care and customer service Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Licensed as an Optician or equivalent eye care
certification CPR certified preferred
