PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal for ensuring the successful recovery of patients post-surgery, injury, or illness through intensive and personalized rehabilitation treatments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Physical Therapists to implement comprehensive treatment plans that focus on functional mobility and pain management, aiding patients in regaining independence and enhancing their quality of life. Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Document patient responses to therapy and report outcomes to the supervising therapist. Help in the set-up of therapy equipment and preparation of the treatment area. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment adhering to compliance and safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in handling therapeutic equipment Ability to follow detailed instructions and therapy plans Physical stamina and strength to assist patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Licensed or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the practicing state CPR and First Aid certification preferred
