Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for
our Labor and Delivery Department who is passionate about providing
superior patient care. As a PRN nurse specializing in L&D, you
will be responsible for assisting with childbirth and ensuring both
maternal and infant health with the support of state-of-the-art
medical facilities. Join our dedicated team of healthcare
professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can

patients and their families. Monitor patient health and progress
related to childbirth. Administer medications and treatments
efficiently and safely. Assist with procedures like epidurals,
inductions, and monitoring fetal heartbeat. Educate and support
patients and their families before, during, and after delivery.
Document all patient care services and procedures. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary health care teams to provide top-quality patient
care. Advanced proficiency in fetal monitoring. Strong clinical
skills in a Labor and Delivery setting. Excellent patient and
family communication. Ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced
situations. Comprehensive knowledge of L&D best practices and
protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of
practice. BLS certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) certification. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
certification.
