Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered
Nurse to join our Intermediate Care/Medical Surgical team. This
position is ideal for a dedicated healthcare professional committed
to providing top-tier patient care in a dynamic and supportive

outcomes for patients with various medical and surgical needs.
Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients within
the intermediate care and medical-surgical units. Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with
the healthcare team. Administer medications, monitor patient vital
signs, and promptly respond to medical emergencies. Educate
patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and
post-discharge care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure
confidentiality and accuracy in documentation. Participate in
continuous education to stay current with medical practices and
technologies. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting
Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
effectively in a high-pressure environment Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
