Job Description:
MedStar Health seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
for our Intensive Care Unit. As part of our team, you will provide
critical care to patients with life-threatening health conditions.
This position requires advanced clinical knowledge, keen attention
to detail, and a passion for delivering patient-first health care.
You will work in a dynamic environment supported by

patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best
possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms
and communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with physicians and
nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients. Perform
routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering
injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts. Adjust and
administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to
physician’s orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain
excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing
surfaces, preparing beds etc.). Provide instant medical care in
emergencies. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to
care for patients and their families. Expertise in ICU or critical
care nursing. Strong ability to think and act quickly in
high-pressure situations. Proficient in using medical software and
electronic health records. Effective communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN)
preferred.
