Job Description:
Join the committed team at MedStar Health as an Experienced
Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate
Care (IMC). You'll be a crucial part of a leading not-for-profit

its mission. Our ICU/IMC units are equipped with state-of-the-art
technology to provide the highest level of care to our patients in
the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region. This role offers the opportunity
to work within a dynamic team environment where professional growth
is encouraged and supported. Provide comprehensive nursing care to
critically ill patients in the ICU and IMC units. Monitor patient
condition, administer medications, and communicate patient status
to the care team. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, treatment, and prevention. Implement and evaluate
patient care plans in coordination with other healthcare
professionals. Maintain a high level of expertise in critical care
nursing techniques and protocols. Expert knowledge of critical care
nursing practices and standards. Proficiency in using medical
software and electronic health records. Strong decision-making and
problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and empathetic
patient care skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
