Job Description:
Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Speech
Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing
comprehensive speech and language services to patients recovering
from life-changing illnesses and injuries. In this role, you will
assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication,
and cognitive-communication disorders. Our facility is committed to

requires expertise in therapeutic strategies and a compassionate

Assess and diagnose disorders related to speech, language,
cognitive communication, and voice. Develop and execute
individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical
conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure
cohesive care strategies. Document patient progress and adjust
treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and families about
communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Conduct research to
enhance treatment protocols and patient outcomes. Expertise in
speech and language pathology practices and therapies Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in the use of
diagnostic tools and software utilized in speech therapy Capacity
to handle sensitive information confidentially Medical Insurance

Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
