NurseAmerica is seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion
Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-quality outpatient oncology
practice. This role is ideal for nurses with infusion and oncology
experience who are passionate about delivering safe,
patient-centered cancer care in a collaborative clinical
environment. The Infusion RN provides professional nursing care in
accordance with national standards, specialty guidelines, and
organizational policies while supporting patients throughout their
treatment journey. Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate
patient care to ensure continuity and quality outcomes Conduct
comprehensive nursing assessments, including medical history, labs,
imaging, and psychosocial needs Prepare and administer infusion
therapies under physician supervision Manage patient flow,
scheduling, triage calls, and follow-up care Assist physicians with
exams and procedures Follow OSHA, infection control, and hazardous
material handling guidelines Maintain treatment areas, supplies,
and equipment per quality standards Serve as a resource and mentor
to LPNs, medical assistants, and less experienced nurses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clinical research as
applicable Participate in ongoing oncology education and
professional development Program and manage ambulatory infusion
pumps for continuous drug delivery Clean, maintain, and document
infusion pump usage Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN
preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Maryland 3 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in
oncology preferred Infusion nursing experience strongly preferred
Oncology certification preferred Outpatient oncology/hematology
clinic setting Manual dexterity and visual/hearing acuity required
