Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,667 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified SICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: - Minimum years of experience in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the OR. - Current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Ventilator management - CRRT - Swan-Ganz catheter management - Epicardial wires/pacemakers - Vasoactive drip titration - Level 1 IABP - ECMO Description: The unit provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. The nurse/patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. ACLS certification, Critical Care certification, trauma course, and EPIC experience are preferred. Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
