strong skills/experience License: Active state RN license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry, Cardiac
Telemetry experience; charting system experience required
Description: 3W Cardiac MS/Tele RN - Nights. The position requires
telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses,
primary stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac cath patients. Remote
telemetry monitoring is done via Hicuity System. Specialty drips
include Cardizem (non-titratable), Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix,
and Lasix. Zebra portable phones and Alaris IV pumps are used as
special equipment. Candidates must be comfortable floating within
the hospital, lifting as needed, and adapting to tasks assigned.
Every other weekend is required, as well as holiday coverage as
scheduled. Additional flexibility may be needed during low census
conditions. Candidates must manage and interpret dysrhythmias and
administer cardiac drips - no titration. Administration of IV
medications and management of lines will be part of
responsibilities. The unit provides interdisciplinary support,
including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and
pharmacy, among others. Candidates should possess experience in
managing BiPAP/CPAP and oxygen administration. 5 Benefits of Travel
