Job Description HOSPITALIST PHYSICIAN – Aberdeen and Bel Air, MD
About the Role Full-service hospitalist practice at University of
Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and
Aberdeen Part of the University of Maryland Medical System
University hospital with excellent specialty support Average 15
patients/day Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform
procedures or run codes Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12
physicians/11 APPs EMR: EPIC Beds 257 Trauma Level – Level II Board
certified/eligible in internal or family medicine Responsibilities
include rounds, admissions, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary
rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code
team. Swing shift rotation covers admissions and new consults
