Kaiser Permanente Georgia is seeking a dedicated Peri Anesthesia Nurse to join our on-call team at Kensington MOB, delivering top-tier care in a seamlessly integrated care and coverage environment. This role requires exceptional nursing skills to manage patient care before and after anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort, and optimizing health outcomes. Assess patient condition before and after surgery, providing necessary nursing care. Administer medications and monitor patient recovery from anesthesia. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families about pre and postoperative care. Manage documentation and patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Proficient in anesthesia recovery protocols. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Skilled in using medical software for patient management. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) or willingness to obtain.
