Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered
Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Telemetry to join our
team in the dynamic D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region. As a part of our
patient-first healthcare services, this position will play a
crucial role in our state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring the
highest level of care for patients with varying levels of acuity.
Our focus centers on providing comprehensive care management, from
routine monitoring to complex surgical recovery, in a highly
supportive and technologically advanced environment. The ideal
candidate will embody our commitment to exceptional care and
maintain MedStar Health's standard for excellence. Monitor patient
health and progress post-surgery. Administer medications and
maintain detailed patient records. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Educate patients
and families on post-surgical care requirements. Implement patient
care plans and respond to medical emergencies. Strong nursing and
patient care skills Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage
high-stress situations In-depth knowledge of health safety and
privacy regulations Medical Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse
license in the state of Maryland or eligible for reciprocity
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred
